I have been using a 3 drawer sterilite organizer for YEARS. Lucky for me I have 3 kids (excluding my DH) but they can be taken apart and added to so really doesn't matter.
Anyway, I was climbing up to adjust our ROKU box one day and the chair I was on broke (I know what you're thinking - it REALLY time to lose some of that weight! haha). Well I landed on my sterilite drawers and broke them. It really was quite comical!!
So - I tried going without them for awhile and it just wasn't working. I keep mine in our kitchen and as I am cleaning I put the kids belongings in there and they put stuff in there that they just don't want to take to their room at the moment. (My girl's rooms are downstairs and at the other end of the house - feels like it takes forever to get there!). I also fold their laundry and put it into their buckets. They have to empty their buckets daily. It is just a little something that has really worked for us.
I had a bit of time on my hands and some extra vinyl....and the sterilite drawers ended up being my victim.

Another "Finally got it DONE" project...
If I had to guess how long these plates have been sitting on my shelf - waiting to be "bedazzled" - I would probably guess that it has been about 3 years. (give or take a year)
But at least they are FINALLY done!!! I used some scrapbook paper that I had laying around and cut out the letters using my Silhouette. Mod Podged them onto the plate and they are FINALLY done. Better than seeing empty old plates up there. Haha!

Don't look too close - I kinda messed up on the "E" haha |

In this home.....
I am a Pinterest/Blogger stalker....who's not nowadays!?!? Haha! I saw this cute idea awhile ago and loved it but they wanted $32. Of course I looked at it and said...I can make that for less.
Lucky for me I already had the frame but I did have to spray paint it to get the color I wanted. Then I just designed the background and added a custom paper. I used butcher paper cut 8.5 inches wide by 24 inches long. Easy - peasy and oh so cheepy!! Total cost - $4 for the spray paint and 50 cents for the paper!
